Professor of building project management Yusuf Arayici teaches. At Northumbria University, he oversees the apprenticeship programs for architecture and the built environment and serves as the deputy head of department. His research has focused on sustainability and building information modeling since 2000. He has graduated 15 PhDs and numerous MSc students, led sizable research groups for an extended length of time through continuous cycles of research with supported research projects totaling £10M, and produced more than 100 publications and five books. He is currently conducting research on AI-supported heritage BIM and BIM for healthcare FM.
